hey, are you on christmas holiday or work related trip?
anyhow, i liked stanley market (by bus), li yuen street(mrt) .it's more of street market, and things are dirt cheap.
i didn't go to dept store -they are similar to s'pore's shops. if you want to look for formal wear, places like lane crawford, etc would have lots of things.shops nearby li yuen would be nice too..but prices also quite steep.
you need to take lift up to those shops/boutiques.

yeah agree with chung. the roasted goose and dimsum is really nice. so is the wonton noodle (the ones we had near templet street market is superb)

according to my research, there's an esprit outlet at Tsim Sha Tsui.
i read a lot about the outlet at Hung Hom. Now I can't remember why I didn't go ..perhaps we were short of time.

yes.. my friend said its the espirit factory outlet worth going. Shd not buy the branded stuff there coz' its not worth buying. Buy the local product (i mean designer)! :P Enjoy!
i didn't get anything at pedder street either. prices were quite high especially after i bought things from li yuen :P i went in summer so quite a lot of things to buy. winter ..i guess is winter coat etc, but you won't need to wear winter wear right?
anyways, my friend last time brought me to suburubs, and they have shopping complex. things are cheap there too. it's for the local.
jackie, you've friends here? got local guide is the best, rather than depending on the broacher.
