Over the dinner with our friend relocated to Hanoi under Huawei, she mentioned that she doesn’t have any commitment and had thought about going back to school two years ago. The next day, on our long bus journey to Tam Coc:

MH: i’ve a volvo and a bmw.

Me: huh? bmw?

MH: my son is my bmw.

Me: haha… he costs more that what a bmw monthly payment would be, and with no ROI. do you expect any ROI?

MH: no… nothing tangible, maybe intangible stuff.

Me: like increasing your EQ?

MH: like happiness or ..

Me: he entertains you huh?

MH: he takes up all my time that i don’t have the time for gadgets. ( = spend money )
